Study Grants
In alignment with Midocean University’s vision to expand educational opportunities and support outstanding students from diverse backgrounds, the university is committed to fostering an inclusive, sustainable learning environment that meets the needs of its students and empowers them to pursue higher education. This vision reflects the university’s dedication to academic excellence and social responsibility, driving its efforts to offer a wide range of scholarships aimed at alleviating financial burdens for talented students and individuals with special needs. Additionally, the scholarships promote equal educational opportunities to help students achieve their academic aspirations.
Eligibility Criteria
The following are the scholarship eligibility criteria and enrolment requirements for the chosen field, which applicants must fulfil:
1. The applicant must not have been dismissed previously from any educational institution.
2. The applicant must not be a recipient of any other scholarship, whether full or partial, from any other source.
3. The applicant must have completed the admission process at Midocean University and obtained preliminary acceptance to be eligible for scholarships.
4. If awarded a scholarship, the student will not be eligible to apply for additional scholarships.
In addition, applicants must:
– Be able to communicate primarily through hearing and speaking, with no mental or cognitive impairments.
– Have a fundamental understanding of technology skills, as studies are conducted entirely online and require proficiency in using computers.
Categories Eligible for Scholarships
– Orphans
– Individuals with non-mental disabilities that do not impede academic performance (subject to an interview)
– Individuals with chronic medical conditions that limit social interaction or mobility (supported by medical documentation)
– Children and siblings of martyrs from the armed forces of all Gulf countries
– Economically disadvantaged individuals unable to afford tuition fees (proof from an official entity is required)
– Palestinians residing in Palestine
– Syrians residing in Syria
– Female students from Afghanistan
– Individuals with visual impairments (supported by medical reports)
Application Process
– Applications are submitted through:
– Completing the designated scholarship application form.
– Signing the Scholarship Agreement: Applicants must acknowledge having reviewed the scholarship agreement, understand its terms, and agree to sign it as part of the acceptance conditions for the scholarship. This agreement outlines the requirements and conditions for maintaining the scholarship, which include meeting specific academic standards and adhering to the professional and ethical conduct policies set forth by the university. The student’s signature on this agreement constitutes an acknowledgement of their commitment to comply with all conditions and procedures necessary to maintain the scholarship. Should the student breach any of these terms, the university reserves the right to terminate the scholarship or take appropriate actions as deemed necessary.
